Known for pioneering impactful projects, Olori Boye-Ajayi serves as President, Borderless Trade Network; a gender and trade advocacy network that collaborates with key players in the international trade space to boost the participation of women in trade and investment. With offices in Lagos, Accra, Monrovia, and the United Kingdom, BTN is an official partner of the prestigious White House initiative – Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) Lagos.
As an advocate for women entrepreneurs and a driver of economic change in Africa, Olori has received numerous recognitions.
Appointments
In 2021, Olori was appointed to run ‘WINHer’ –a gender-inclusion investment program, on behalf of the Office of Commissioner of Trade and Investment of Vanuatu to Nigeria and South Africa, and as Ambassador, Afreximbank MANSA; driving the inclusion of African SMEs in the global trade scene.
Awards/Recognitions
She was awarded Leading Ladies Africa’s ‘Top 100 Inspiring Women in Africa’ in 2021. In 2020, she won the Entrepreneur Africa Awards for the ‘Outstanding Female Entrepreneur of the Year’, and ‘Leader and Mentor’; recognition by the US Consulate General Public Affairs office, Lagos, for her role in the successful leadership and mentoring programs in Lagos state public schools for girls.
Olori was, in 2019, honored by Ideation Hub Africa at the annual Women in Development Summit for her contribution to driving social change and nation-building in Africa through business. By 2018, she was internationally recognized and nominated for the international fellowship program – the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), an exchange program by the U.S State Department for the ‘Women in Business II’scheme.
